How it works

Peercel frames every step, from publishing the ad to the rating left after delivery. Here is the journey seen from both sides.

As a sender

You publish your parcel
Departure city, destination city, weight, contents, photos and a date window. An indicative price is suggested from the route's pricing grid.
You get matching travellers
Peercel ranks travellers by how close they are, how well the dates line up and their reputation. You propose a price; the traveller accepts or counter-offers.
You pay, the money is escrowed
The payment is taken when you agree, but stays held by Peercel. The traveller receives nothing until the parcel has been delivered.
You hand the parcel over in person
A meeting is arranged in the in-app chat. At handover, you enter the pick-up code shown on the traveller's phone.
You follow the journey
The traveller updates the status until arrival. You are notified at every change; your recipient is notified at the steps that concern them — pickup, the traveller's arrival, and the handover, for which they receive the code by SMS.
You rate the traveller
After delivery you leave a rating and a comment. Both feed the traveller's trust level for future deliveries.

You publish your trip
Route, dates, available kilos and, if you want, the price per kilo you would accept. Publishing is free and commits you to nothing.
You receive requests
Matching parcels are offered to you. You accept, decline or counter-offer a price — negotiation works in both directions.
The sender pays, the funds go into escrow
As soon as you both agree, the sender pays and Peercel holds the amount. So before you travel to the meeting point, you know the money is secured.
You pick the parcel up
At the meeting you inspect the contents and show your pick-up code to the sender. Pick-up must be completed before departure.
You deliver to the recipient
On arrival, the recipient receives a code by SMS. You enter it at handover: that is the proof of delivery.
Your funds are released
The agreed amount, minus the service fee, lands in your Peercel balance. You withdraw it by mobile money or bank transfer.
